| Minimum Job Price: Our minimum charge per job is $50. This will include Basic Service for any stump work totaling less than 17 inches in diameter and any other work to be done which does not total $50 or more. |
| Basic Service Here we grind the stump approximately 8 inches below ground (enough for sod or grass seed) and rake the mulch back over the hole. We also rake up the area so chips aren't all over your yard. The Price For This Service Is: $3 Per Inch |
| Intermediate Service This is a complete basic service and removal of the mulch/chips from the job site. This is an ideal service for customers without a way to dispose of the chips or do not want the hassle of moving them! The Price For This Service Is: $4 Per Inch |
| Premium Service This is a complete basic and intermediate service with topsoil added to all jobs and grass seed added during appropriate times of year. The only thing left is water your new grass and watch it grow! The Price For This Service Is: $5 Per Inch |
| Extra deep - for replanting (we grind below surface making enough room for sod or grass seed) If you will be replanting a tree or bush in the same area of the stump we can grind your stump out to a deeper level for an additional $1 per inch. Root Removal Root Removal is the removal of surface roots from your yard. This is a time consuming process but can make a big difference in the appearance and maintenance of your yard. The root removal service we provide is removing roots visible at the surface of the ground and is performed either by machine or by hand tools. When root removal is performed, we remove the root and do very little to disturb the soil surrounding the root. When completed, there are just small trenches where the roots have been removed that can be filled with dirt or mulch from the removal. BASIC Root Removal is $3.00 per foot. This is removal of any root visible at the surface and placing any mulch back into the trench INTERMEDIATE Root Removal is $4.00 per foot. This is removal of any visible root, and removal of any excess mulch above ground level. PREMIUM Root Removal is $5.00 per foot. This is removal of any root and mulch and then adding topsoil to fill in the remaining trench. Trees or stumps with a large amount of visible roots will need to be bid for price. This will ensure that an accurate bid is given and we can meet your expectations. |
| Please Be Aware! We are required under Missouri Law to have all public underground utilities marked prior to any digging which includes having a stump or root removed. We will schedule this prior to our work. However, the Missouri One Call locate service does not locate any private utilities including private phone, water, or gas lines. Any private utilities are the owners responsibility to notify us of their location. We can perform our work only after 3 working days are given for the service to locate all utilities within the work area. Therefore, please understand that it will take at least 3 days before we can get your work done! Many of our customers have sprinkler systems or other irrigation systems in their yards. We ask customers to mark the location of all lines themselves or have their irrigation service company do this so we do not damage your system! We are NOT responsible for damage to unmarked private utility lines or sprinkler systems! |
